The Netherlands will give €482 millions to the cultural sector

COVID-19 has hit the cultural sector around the world hardly.

The cultural sphere has lost millions in income. Festivals, clubs and theatre shows, galleries and museums were the first to stop.

The Netherlands government will give €482 million to the cultural sector following the previous €300 million that was given in April. This was the reaction after the fact that Dutch culture minister Ingrid van Engelshoven received a large amount of criticism for not responding to the cultural sector quicker and with more urgency.

We hope other governments follow The Netherlands to save the cultural sectors in other all countries of the world.
