Tomorrowland 2022: what to expect from historic Weekend 3

After a wild 2 weekends of partying in the Belgian town of Boom, Tomorrowland 2022 is progressing into its historic Weekend 3 full of iconic sets and artists you shouldn’t miss out. Check out down below what to expect from the cathartic end of the festival.

 

After two spectacular weeks packed with remarkable shows and magical sets, Weekend 3 is knocking on the gates of Tomorrowland. With Future Rave being brought onto the mainstage, and Armin Van Buuren lighting up the show, we run through the timetable of the final week to see what sets and surprises we prepare ourselves for.

 

Thursday

The final week starts its preparations at The Gathering in Dreamville, with the roster consisting of names such as Lennert Wolfs at 4:30 PM, DJ Licious at 6 PM, Amber Broos at 8:15 PM and Regi at 9 PM. The final two sets are left as surprise for the ravers on the spot for an exciting end to the first day.

 

Friday

The Mainstage starts off strong with Daybreak session hosted by Claptone at noon. The day continues on with brilliant names: Yellow Claw are set to perform at 6:40 PM, followed up by Boris Brejcha at 7:40 PM, bigroom legends W&W at 8:40 PM, and the day ending with Tiësto and his trance roots at 10:50PM and epic return of Hardwell at 11:50.

Freedom by Eric Prydz is back for another week, with CristophJoris Voorn and Ida Engberg coming back on the stage from 3 PM respectively, and the man himself closing the stage at 11:15 PM.

Rose Garden welcomes Rampage for the best bass music can offer. With names like Fox Stevenson at 5PM and Virtual Riot coming to the stage at 9PM, drum and bass legend Macky Gee is set to light up the venue at 10 PM, and the legendary Eptic is closing the stage for the day for a cathartic finisher.

Exhale on Atmosphere Stage will present the best of techno, with Nur Jaber coming up at 5 PM, Amelie Lens coming in clutch at 9:30 PM, and the day being closed with a two-hour-long b2b set of Dax J and Kobosil at 11 PM.

Kara Savi welcomes Future Sound of Egypt with some of the most notable Mediterranean names in the world of progressive and trance. With Aly & Fila coming up at 7:30 PM, followed up by John O’Callaghan at 9 PM, trance star Giuseppe Ottaviani is lighting up the stage at 10 PM.

The Library is hosting STMPD RCRDS and is packed with brilliant house b2bs throughout the whole day. Dubvision is going up b2b with Matisse & Sadko at 8 PM, with the man behind the label Martin Garrix closing the venue at 11 PM with a 2-hour-long delight.

 

Saturday

As we progress further into Tomorrowland 2022 Weekend 3, the Mainstage on Saturday is welcoming another A-list set of stars, with Martin Solveig going b2b with Kungs at 6:40 PM and Oliver Heldens coming to light it up at 8:40 PM. Afrojack is turning up the party at 9:45 PM, with Tomorrowland’s OGs Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike coming up at 10:50 PM to warm up the stage for one of the biggest stars of this year’s festival, Charlotte de Witte at 11:50 PM.

Atmosphere is becoming Afterlife for the day, with Tale Of Us coming up at 11PM.

Crystal Garden is again welcoming Anjunabeats to welcome the best of progressive trance and house, with the boys Above & Beyond closing the stage at 10 PM.

Bonzai Stage is back at Rose Garden to show the best retro sounds of dance music, with names like Yves Deruyter coming out at 9 PM.

Freedom Stage welcomes Q-Dance for all things hardstyle and hardcore. The day is packed with many names, some of them being DJ The Prophet at 3 PM and Phuture Noize at 6 PM.

Youphoria welcomes once again Psygathering for the best of most notable psytrance names, like WHITENO1SE at 7:30 PM and Neelix at 10 PM.

The Library is bringing Lost Frequencies & Friends and all things dance, deep and tech house. With names throughout the day like Sam StarksNoizu and Riton, star of the day Lost Frequencies is coming up at 9:30 PM, followed up by Duck Sauce at 11 PM. The stage ends with some drum & bass by Netsky at midnight.

Sunday

The last day of the festival hosts several exciting stages to check out. The Mainstage will welcome NERVO at 5:30 PM, star Nicky Romero at 6:35 PM, and Lost Frequencies will perform live at 8:45 PM. The day will have two spectacular last sets, with first consisting of Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Steve Aoki as 3 Are Legend at 9:50 PM and Major Lazer coming to light up the mainstage one final time at 10:55 PM.

Freedom Stage will welcome house legend Claptone one last time at 7:30 PM, along with Kölsch at 9 PM and Adam Beyer at 10:30 PM.

Youphoria is once again hosting Monstercat, with names many will recognize. Koven is coming up at 5:40 PM, followed up by Crankdat at 6:30 PM and multi-genre star Slushii at 7:30 PM. The stage is being closed by Infected Mushroom at 10:30 PM for a spectacular psytrance show.

Crystal Garden is bringing up Diplo’s Higher Ground, with man of the hour Diplo coming up at 7:30 PM. To make things extra memorable, Maceo Plex is closing the stage at 10:30 PM.

Rose Garden is bringing the nostalgia of 2010-2012 period, with names like Deniz Koyu at 4 PM, Laidback Luke at 7 PM and a special guest coming up at 9 PM.

Kara Savi is welcoming Cafeina, Belgian party-starters who know what it takes to make a crowd dance the night away. DJs such as Christian82Cemode & Mr Grammy and Disco Dasco will bring up the best of deep and melodic house.

Last, but not least, The Library is becoming Smash The House venue to host the best names of the record label from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. With the boys of the hour joining Timmy Trumpet at 8 PM, the night will also see Quintino at 9 PM, Bassjackers at 10 PM and trance duo Vini Vici are set to close the stage at 11 PM.
