JEANIE Gears Up for Halloween With Frenetic New Single “Purge”

Sometimes, sitting on a track really pays off if it means releasing it at the perfect time of the year. 

Inspired by her love for the movie Purge and all things Halloween, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer JEANIE is dropping quintessential new single “Purge” as an ode to the spookiest month of the year; right in time for all of your favorite Halloween parties and playlists. 

Having sat on this track for 9 months, JEANIE made “Purge” after finding herself in a creative bind. Fortunately, it seems that she not only got over it, but came out with a psytrance and dubstep-influenced single that stands out as a seamlessly chaotic work of its own. 

“I made ‘Purge’ after having horrible writer's block for months. I ended up locking myself in my bedroom for about a week and came out with 3 or 4 tracks that I was really happy with and ‘Purge’ was one of them!”

Feverish and naturally charged, “Purge” plugs in an abundant amount of energy in its dips and dives to be a perfect addition to anyone’s Halloween music mixes and beyond.
